    The Apna Bazaar night market, in collaboration with Radio Sangam, is back by popular demand and will feature a variety of Asian and Middle Eastern cuisine, beverages, shopping, and live entertainment.

    Chand Raat, which means ‘the night of the moon’, is a Muslim holiday celebrated at the end of Ramadan, on the eve of Eid al-Fitr. People of all faiths, or none, are invited to join the festivities at Huddersfield Market.

    The event will include live entertainment hosted by Radio Sangam, a Community Iftar (the meal to break the fast), henna artists, and market stalls selling a wide range of South Asian goods, such as jewellery, hampers, gifts, fragrances, clothing, and more.

This year we have the option of watching Cinderella (one of the most popular pantos) in two local theatres, The Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield and The Victoria Theatre in Halifax.
